Our educators take the time to really get to know each child—what they’re interested in, how they like to learn, and what helps them feel confident. We follow the children’s lead, building on their ideas and helping them make sense of the world in ways that are meaningful to them.

From the Director’s Desk
Hello! My name is Meghan, and I’m honoured to serve as the Director of Learning Grove Academy. I hold a professional qualification in Early Childhood Education and have proudly dedicated my career to nurturing young minds and fostering meaningful early learning experiences. I’ve had the privilege of being with Learning Grove Academy since its inception in 2021, growing alongside our centre, our families, and our dedicated team.
Since graduating from Durham College, I’ve worked as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with children ranging from infants to preschoolers. These experiences in the classroom helped shape my understanding of child development and sparked a deeper desire to make a broader impact. That passion led me to pursue leadership, where I’ve found true fulfillment in mentoring educators and guiding play-based, child-led programs that reflect our shared vision.
What makes this work especially rewarding is that both of my children have been part of our programs. Experiencing Learning Grove Academy as both an educator and a parent has deepened my appreciation for the loving, stimulating, and inclusive environment we offer every child.
At Learning Grove Academy, we believe in planting the seeds for lifelong learning, confidence, and curiosity. I am deeply committed to ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to explore their world.
